Register to Vote in Tennessee

‍You can register online at GoVoteTN.gov if you have a Tennessee driver’s license or state ID.

If not, you can print a form and mail it in.

‍To vote in Tennessee, you must:
‍
1. Be a U.S. citizen
2. Be a Tennessee resident
3.Be 18 years old by Election Day

‍Deadlines: Register at least 30 days before the election


‍Mailed forms must be postmarked by that deadline

Important: First-time voters who register online or by mail may need to vote IN PERSON

Voter registration records are public (excluding SSN and license numbers)
